Bobcat Unveils New Utility Tractors for Heavy-Duty Tasks

Bobcat Company, a renowned leader in the global equipment market, has announced the launch of three new utility tractors: the UT6066, UT6566, and UT6573. These additions are designed to tackle demanding tasks with greater efficiency, providing both novice and experienced operators with the tools they need to excel in various applications.

Expanding the Tractor Lineup The introduction of the UT6066, UT6566, and UT6573 tractors marks a significant expansion of Bobcat’s already robust utility tractor lineup. Built with the user in mind, these models are engineered to handle heavy-duty work while ensuring ease of operation.

Jonathan Widmer, a senior product specialist at Bobcat, emphasizes the versatility and reliability of these tractors. “Bobcat utility tractors are designed to be dependable and user-friendly, allowing operators to focus on the task at hand,” Widmer explains. The new models excel in both performance and productivity, whether the operator is using attachments or managing materials with the tractor’s loader.

These tractors are equipped with 12×12 power shuttle transmissions, enabling operators to shift gears smoothly without using the clutch. Powered by turbocharged Tier 4 diesel engines, the UT6066, UT6566, and UT6573 deliver powerful performance with impressive low-end torque, all while maintaining fuel efficiency. The design also prioritizes operator comfort, with features such as reliable engine starts, rapid travel speeds, extended component life, and reduced noise and vibration.

For those working in varied weather conditions, the UT6566 and UT6573 models come standard with a climate-controlled cab. The ergonomic controls, wide glass panels, and clear visibility to the 3-point hitch enhance the operator’s experience, reducing fatigue and improving overall performance.

Versatile Implements and Attachments The new Bobcat tractors are compatible with a range of implements and attachments, enhancing their versatility. The optional front-end loader, which is easy to attach and remove, boosts productivity with its impressive lift and reach capabilities. The loader includes the Bob-Tach® system, which allows for quick and simple attachment changes. Additionally, the mechanical self-leveling feature keeps pallet forks level during lifts, minimizing the risk of spillage.

The tractors are equipped with a rear PTO that operates at 540 rpm at engine speeds of 1,800 or 2,500 rpm, delivering maximum power for a variety of tasks. The Category 2, 3-point hitch is designed for versatility, enabling operators to handle both powered and non-powered implements. The telescopic lower links and stabilizers make implement connections and removals easier, while rear-remote hydraulics further enhance the tractors’ functionality.

Enhanced Performance Features Bobcat’s new utility tractors include several features aimed at enhancing performance:

  • PTO Cruise: Maintains consistent PTO power despite changing engine load conditions.
  • Draft Control: Prevents tire slippage or engine stalling by maintaining the desired implement height.
  • Four-Wheel Drive: Engages with the push of a button to improve traction.
  • Rear-Remote Hydraulics: Provides greater versatility by enabling hydraulic functions for a wide range of implements.
  • Power and Tilt Steering: Supports operator comfort and minimizes fatigue.
  • Mechanical Self-leveling: Keeps the loader bucket or pallet forks level, reducing spillage.
  • Loader Floatation: Allows the loader to follow ground contours for smooth operation.
  • Bob-Tach System: Facilitates quick and easy loader attachment changes.

Jonathan Widmer concludes, “Whether your work involves cutting hay, clearing snow, feeding livestock, or handling materials, Bobcat utility tractors offer the versatility and power you need to get the job done efficiently.”
