CASE Construction Equipment has recently introduced its advanced D-Series motor graders, including the 836D and 856D, which build upon the strengths of the earlier C-Series. The new models are designed to improve operator comfort and efficiency, incorporating a modernized cabin, intuitive control systems, and powerful Dual Power engines.
The D-Series graders come with a low-profile ROPS/FOPS cab, providing excellent visibility and facilitating easier transport due to the reduced overall height. The cab is equipped with full-width tinted windows, a touchscreen display for comprehensive machine and maintenance information, and a rear-view camera for enhanced safety. The interior features a thoughtfully organized layout, including a customizable screen, an electronic hand throttle, and ample storage spaces. Operators have the option to choose between electro-hydraulic joystick controls or mechanical levers, both offering precise control over the machine’s functions. The cabin also includes a heated, air-suspended seat and three-axis joysticks, equipped with multiple control options to ensure maximum comfort and control.

The D-Series models are powered by a Stage V six-cylinder FPT diesel engine with Hi-eSCR2 emissions technology. The dual power curve allows the engine to provide maximum power as the transmission ratios increase, enhancing productivity. The engine is compatible with HVO and other synthetic fuels and includes a maintenance-free DOC and SCRoF system. The Ergopower transmission ensures smooth gear shifting, while the all-wheel-drive models offer a creep mode for precise compaction work, suitable for challenging terrains. Optional 24” tires are available to enhance performance on rough surfaces.
The D-Series graders also feature customizable moldboard options, including different widths, extensions, and additional features like an overload clutch and a five-tooth ripper. The moldboard design incorporates a roller-mounted encapsulated slewing ring, reducing wear and ensuring high mechanical torque for precise control. The reduced number of greasing points lowers maintenance needs, increasing uptime and profitability.

CASE supports the D-Series with a range of after-sales solutions, including the CASE SiteWatch subscription, a fleet management tool with tracking and geofencing capabilities. The CASE SiteConnect system enhances telematics, providing real-time performance alerts to dealers, facilitating proactive maintenance and repair. Additional services include CASE Care, a planned maintenance program using genuine parts, CASE Protect extended warranty, and CASE Fluid Analysis, all aimed at optimizing machine performance and reducing unexpected costs.
