Case rolls out D-Series mini-excavators

Case Construction Equipment’s new D series compact excavator consists of 20 models ranging from 1 ton to 6 ton, including two electric models.

Made in Italy, the D series has all the latest technology, features and accessories for all markets and applications. The new series follows 2021’s purchase of Sanpiana. The SAMPIERANA group includes Crawler crane and Eurocomach mini excavators. Egidio, CNH director “European production enabled the first D series machines to be shipped from the third quarter of 2022 and delivered to customers’sites,”says Egidio Galano, the most effective, so the most demanding models in Europe are 1-3 tons and 5-6 tons, and we have 15 models to meet that demand.”

Functions such as zero-tail swing and two-piece boom can be used throughout, as can hydraulic and mechanical quick connectors. Users can fully customize each machine based on the application, with options ranging from basic configuration to advanced feature load models.

Even the 2-, 4.5-and 5.5-tonne models have a two-piece performance boom, the industry’s first, says CNH. The first electric vehicle, the CX15EV, will be available in the first quarter of 2023. The 1.3-ton machine is said to have a 16-kilowatt electric engine and a 21.5-kilowatt-hour battery that can be recharged in less than two hours with an external fast charger.

To increase flexibility, Internet time, and productivity, Kes has created a range of connected and disconnected after sales and case service solutions. Services include geo-location, fleet security using geo-fencing and unauthorized use of alerts, and flexible reporting from case sites\/observation fleet management tools. This includes the ability to track fuel consumption, utilization, machine hours and idle time. Case sitnect enhances the telemetry data used by CASE’S UPTIME center team to provide alerts to the resellers based on machine performance. The reseller can remotely access machine data and actively manage customer machines to ensure maximum uptime. Starting with the 2023, field observations and field connections can be used on the D series compact excavator.
