With a maximum digging depth of nearly 22 meters and a ground-level reach extending up to 28 meters, the 395 LRE offers operators the advantage of a highly specialized boom and stick configuration while maintaining the raw power of the standard Cat 395.
According to Caterpillar senior product and sales consultant Vincent Migeotte, the 395 LRE isn’t just a standalone model—it’s also available as a retrofit kit for any existing 395 excavator, allowing operators to expand their machine’s capabilities while retaining the benefits of Caterpillar’s renowned fuel efficiency, speed, and power.
“The kit fully integrates with the standard machine, transforming it into a specialized long-reach excavator that excels in distance-based excavation projects,” Migeotte explained.
