John Deere has launched a new hydraulic coupler for 35G, 50G and 60G mini excavators that allow operators to fast switch buckets without leaving the cab.
The new coupler, model number 16GE23, is compatible with Deere’s lineup of Worksite Pro attachments and features a wedge bar locking system that reduces wear and tear and keeps the coupler joint tight.
Activated using a rocker switch, Deere says the coupler’s wedge-style bucket pickup keeps weight down and therefore maintains breakout forces.
Operators can easily switch to other types of attachments like hammers using an adaptive bracket.
