Lynx heavy equipment, an authorized dealer in Egypt for Lynx, received the largest order ever for a lynx mini excavator in the Middle East and Africa, for the “Decent living”initiative launched by the Abdel Fattah el-Sisi of Egypt’s president.

The “Decent life”initiative, led by the president of Egypt, works to eradicate poverty in Egypt. It targets 4,500 villages throughout Egypt, affecting 58 per cent of the country’s 102 million population, and aims to transform slums and poor villages into prosperous communities through modern infrastructure.

A specialist in the Egyptian mini Equipment Market

OTRAC heavy equipment for the first phase of the decent living project provides the Egyptian government with 804.5 ton small bobcat excavators and 49 Bobcat taxi loaders. AUTRAC was chosen by decision makers to participate in the project because they are experts in the market for mini devices and lead the market for Lynx products.

A spokesman for the decent living initiative commented: “High-performance small machines, such as the Bobtail mini-excavator and the taxi loader, are critical to the decent living project.” We chose the bobcat brand because we have excellent experience in running bobcat slide loaders, especially their durability and reliability, as well as the excellent The Adjuster offered by Otrac,”said Mr. Hatem Ouda, president of AUTRAC heavy equipment. “We are pleased to maintain a high level of trust that has enabled us to win this large order for mini excavator and bobcat slide loaders for decent living projects.

The Egyptian authorities have a successful long-term relationship with OTRAC and, based on its performance and expertise, have purchased a number of machines,”said Gaby Rhayem, Doosan Bobcat EMEA’s regional director for the Middle East and Africa. “This is a fitting tribute to the attention and expertise of AUTRAC in Egypt.”

The Presidential Initiative for Decent Life

The National Project for rural development in Egypt — is a multi-pronged and integrated initiative. It aims to improve the living conditions and daily lives of Egyptian citizens within the framework of integrated and unified efforts among Egyptian state institutions, private sector entities, civil society and development partners.

The plan also aims to provide a comprehensive package of services covering all aspects of health, social and living conditions. It is the shared responsibility of these different parties to provide a decent life for Egyptian citizens, especially vulnerable groups. Target groups include the poorest families in rural communities, senior citizens, persons with disabilities, orphans and children, unemployed youth and volunteers.

More than 20 ministries and entities and 23 civil society organizations are cooperating in the implementation of this vast project. In addition, a number of young Egyptians have volunteered through the decent life foundation to engage in charitable and developmental work in order to implement the pillars of the initiative and achieve its goals in 4,500 Egyptian villages.
