Yanmar has introduced the ViO38-7 and ViO33-7 excavators, bringing a new level of innovation and efficiency to their zero-tail swing lineup. These models, successors to the ViO38-6 and ViO33-6, combine advanced features with a fresh design to meet the demands of modern construction sites.
The ViO38-7 offers an Operating Weight (OW) of 3,585kg and a digging force of 32.8kN at 2,200rpm. Its counterpart, the ViO33-7, weighs 3,265kg and delivers 30.69kN of digging force. These figures, along with a 7% improvement in excavation efficiency, are achieved through hydraulic upgrades and an 18.5kW Yanmar engine.
Maneuverability is a standout feature of these models, thanks to the improved boom swing angle and reduced turning radius. The lower body and bucket have been redesigned for better clearing ability, enhancing the machines’ versatility.
Compact and easy to transport, the ViO33-7 measures 1,550mm wide, while the ViO38-7 is slightly broader at 1,740mm. Transport weights range from 3,090kg to 3,530kg, depending on the model and configuration, ensuring ease of mobility.
Yanmar has also enhanced travel performance, with the ViO33-7 achieving a top speed of 4.8km/h—a 25% speed boost under load. An automatic speed deceleration function further optimizes operation, making these excavators efficient in demanding conditions.
Operator comfort is prioritized with redesigned cabins that feature improved air conditioning, spacious layouts, and a modern 4.3-inch color display. Yanmar’s attention to customer feedback has resulted in a practical yet stylish design, ensuring a superior user experience.
The ViO38-7 and ViO33-7 reflect Yanmar’s dedication to creating high-performance machines that cater to both functionality and aesthetics.
